Changing the Diet

Changes to the diet, such as adding a new supplement, generally take a little time to kick in.

Removal of irritants or foods that the horse is intollerant of will usually have a much quicker beneficial efffect.

If we discuss and agree changes to a horse's diet using feeding and supplementation recomendations on this site, then it will probably be best to wait until the horse has had a month on the new diet and a chance to build up the nutritional resources to support him through transition.

Please look a the dietary information on this web site - it will help you to choose what is appropriate for your horse.
